Abstract
:
Market movement trends vary from family to another due to different population characteristics of households. Shopping trends also vary from time to another because of the varying needs of families from time to time. Daily needs differ from monthly needs. There is also a difference in trends of shopping, whether daily or monthly, to the different reasons for choosing the place of shopping. Therefore, although these families have the same shopping areas, which are near, they are not the only ones that families depend on for shopping. Thus, the area of shopping has expanded whether daily or monthly, and each has formed a section. The study succeeded in determining it through spatial analysis using the ARC-GIS 10- families depend on it and use it daily or monthly basis to purchase their different needs. And both have different characteristics. The study followed the geo-economic behavioral methodology. The study was supported by the questionnaires distributed in the study area, which are limited to the Sharafiyah housing area. This area has been selected to apply the idea of research to a group of households living in a homogeneous group of dwellings in residential properties, combined with one residential location and one shopping area. Recommendations: shopping is currently a kind of recreation, so the owners of shopping malls should provide to meet all the needs of shoppers, not only from the goods, but also from the aspects that give the opportunity for shoppers to recreation. The compete of shopping mall owners to achieve this will reduce the area of shopping district. The study also recommends that the shopping region be drawn up time after time for the same group to monitor and interpret the changes that will occur in this area.
